Project Overview

The Tingtibi–Praling Highway improvement project involves upgrading road sections to enhance safety, durability, and traffic flow. The works include earthworks, pavement rehabilitation, slope stabilization, drainage improvements, and utility coordination. Upon completion, the highway will improve connectivity, reduce travel time, enhance road safety, and support regional socio-economic development while maintaining environmental and safety standards.

The Challenge

The improvement of the Tingtibi–Praling Highway faces challenges such as steep slopes, weak subgrade, and sections prone to landslides that require slope stabilization and retaining structures. Adverse weather, particularly heavy rainfall, can delay construction and affect pavement quality. Limited access to construction materials, logistical constraints, and coordination with utilities may impact project timelines. Ensuring traffic management along an operational highway and minimizing environmental and social impacts are additional key challenges.

Our Solution

Challenges can be mitigated through thorough site investigations, slope stabilization, and proper road rehabilitation techniques. Scheduling construction during favorable weather, timely procurement of quality materials, and efficient logistics will maintain project progress. Traffic management plans, utility coordination, and environmental protection measures—such as dust, noise, and erosion control—will reduce disruptions. Continuous supervision, monitoring, and quality assurance will ensure durable and timely completion.
