As part of this mandate, the Surveyor plays a critical role in ensuring all physical groundwork is mapped, planned, and executed with precision, regulatory compliance, environmental consideration, and long-term sustainability in mind.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in construction surveying or public infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in total stations, GPS, GIS, and relevant software tools (AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, etc.).
- Strong understanding of government regulatory frameworks, especially related to land use, environmental impact, and resource extraction.
- Good interpersonal skills and experience in working with government agencies and local communities.
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainable and ethical practices.
